The Tomb of Jesus Found: Truth or Hoax

Brace yourselves for what is likely to be a cultural and religious firestorm that will start on Monday February 26. 27 years ago, in a suburb of Jerusalem, construction workers unearthed a 2,000 year old cave with 10 caskets in it. Archaeologists were called in and the caskets were removed. Finally, after nearly 30 years of DNA testing, Biblical studies, and translating the names on the caskets, scientists are preparing to reveal what they firmly believe to be the remains of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and his family. The press release, which is scheduled for Monday, will take place in New York City where three of the caskets have been flown in and will be on display. The caskets on display are believed to have belonged to Jesus, Mary (the Virgin), and Mary Magdelene. The release comes before a documentary will be aired on TV stations around the world, including the Discovery Channel. Even more interesting is that the find suggests that Jesus had a son, Judah, as one of the caskets was entitled "Judah son of Jesua." This event will definately ignite a cultural and religious debate that targets the very roots of Christianity itself, which is largely based on the belief that when Jesus died, he was resurrected. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds in the months and even years ahead.
